Meet Amanda & Alex. They were married this summer at The Foundry at Glassworks. It was a beautiful day with sunny skies and just enough breeze to give the pictures an attractive wind blown look. The pink bouquets and men's pink ties were poppin' against the formal dark black dresses and suits the bride and groom had picked out making the photos look gorgeous. The flower girl and ring bearer were so cute they almost stole the show. The ring bearer was a little hesitant to walk down the aisle but his Uncle Alex knew the trick. He bribed him with a roll of smarties once he reached the end of the aisle. Amanda looked stunning with her long blonde hair and beautiful smile as she beamed walking down the aisle to her husband-to-be. After the ceremony we headed into the reception since we had taken most of the pictures beforehand. The Foundry at Glassworks large reception venue was awash with pink. Fleur de Lis Events & Design created some stunning large vases of pink roses and orchids drawing everyone eyes to the centerpieces on the tables. Cory Leonardo with PartyZone Productions kicked off the formal events after dinner with a Newly Wed Game giving all the guests an opportunity to get to know the couple just a little bit better. This always makes for great fun and gets lots of laughs. The cake cutting ceremony was somewhat tame with Amanda just smearing a bit of cake on Alex's face. Alex went first and had a little bit more restraint. Cory knew just the right music to play to keep the dance floor packed and the party going well into the night.
Alex and Amanda thanks for including me in your special day. I enjoyed being your Louisville wedding photographer and wish you many years of happiness!!!
