Janelle & Chris were wed at one of my favorite venues The Foundry at Glassworks. It is always a joy to work at this contemporary event space that is so convenient in downtown Louisville and has a very welcoming staff. The couple chose to rent two lofts in the Glassworks building for prep that provided a great modern backdrop for pictures. They were joined by family and friends to witness their marriage vows in event space two in the Foundry. Afterwards, we boarded a bus to venture down to the Big Four Bridge for bridal party portraits. This bridge was special to the couple because this is where Chris popped the question and Janelle said yes. We were all very fortunate because rain and gloomy clouds threatened to interrupt the day but luckily it held off until we returned to the Foundry. Wedding receptions are always beautiful in event space one with a splash of color on the walls that is reflected in the floor. The venue was pretty in pink with towering floral centerpieces drawing everyone's eye to the elegant table decor. There were heartfelt speeches from family members, a very respectful cake cutting ceremony, and the dance floor was spirited with guests joining in the celebration.
Janelle & Chris - I enjoyed being part of your very special wedding day. Thanks for choosing me to be your Louisville wedding photographer and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
