Meet Josh and Brittany. I had the pleasure of photographing their Louisville wedding this past May. They met at the University of Louisville and we actually photographed their engagement session on campus. They now both work on a college campus in Texas. Brittany & Josh entrusted Paul Latham and Alex Hunnicutt with Fleur de Lis Events & Design to design their whole wedding at The Foundry at Glassworks and surprise them on the wedding day with the final result. Paul & Alex referenced Brittany's Pinterest page and knew that her favorite color was pink. The couple was absolutely blown away with their ceremony and reception decor. I have included quite a few decor pictures below because it was so over-the-top gorgeous. The reception venue reminded me of an outdoor piazza including vibrant green trees, string bulb lights, beautiful towering pink floral arrangements, and tablecloths offering a little glitz and glamour. Once again Fleur de Lis Events & Design wowed each and every guest with their original designs.
Brittany & Josh chose to do a first look before the ceremony in order to take most all of the pictures beforehand leaving more time for them to visit with their guests. We took this opportunity to walk around the block to Main Street. The Foundry at Glassworks weddings are conveniently located near museum row. We strolled to the Hillerich and Bradsby building, the Slugger Museum, and the Science Center. It was quite hot that day, so we made sure to take a couple breaks in between.
Brittany and Josh- Thanks for entrusting me to capture one of the most special days of your life. I enjoyed being your Louisville wedding photographer and wish you many years of happiness. Here a just a few of my favorite photos of the day.
