Meet Jen and Aaron who were wed this past July. Their ceremony was in New Albany, IN at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the reception that followed was in Louisville at The Muhammad Ali Center. Being as Louisville's weather is so hit and miss Jen thought of everything in her wedding planning. Wedding photos were very important to each of them. If rain threatened to ruin our plans of outdoor photos Jen & Aaron booked the Pepin Mansion for the guys to get ready and be our "Plan B" if we had to do all the portraits inside. Luckily, the rain did not wreck the day instead it was sunny skies all day. We still took advantage of the Mansion's ornate decor but did most of our photos outside as we originally planned. The highlight of the day was most likely having the couple exit the church with a gentleman playing the bagpipes while all the guests wishing them well.
Muhammad Ali weddings are absolutely picturesque with the sweeping views of the Ohio River and Louisville skyline wrapping around the building. The couple had their first dance as the sun began to set. I had the pleasure of working along side of ICVideo while they filmed all the excitement of the wedding day. There were amazing toast by the couples siblings and the bride's father. I am so glad they chose to have their day filmed because they will be able to relive those great toasts for years to come. I can try to capture all the emotions and couples reactions but I can't do as well as being able to hear and see every expression as video does. Jen and Aaron decided to have a band entertain their guests instead of a dj which was a great choice because everyone was dancing late into the night.
Thanks Aaron and Jen for allowing me to capture your special day. I wish you lots of happiness!!
