Meet Karley and Zachary. They will be getting married next month at The Gardens of Ray Eden. Weddings at this romantic venue are located within 14 acres of lush landscaped gardens containing a lake, Koi pond, old courtyard gardens, and much more. For Karley & Zachary's engagement session we began on Frankfort Avenue walking to nearby locations. We then hopped in the car to take a short ride down to the Heigold House. Once the sun was low in the sky we made the hike up to the Big Four Bridge. Engagement Photos are always scenic in this location. Take a look below of a few of my favorite pictures from the evening.
Meet Jen and Aaron. They will be wed this upcoming July at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Albany, IN and their reception will be at the Muhammad Ali Center. Weddings at the Muhammad Ali Center have sweeping views of the Ohio River, a modernly designed event space, and don't forget the cascading stairs outside the venue perfect for awesome bridal party pictures. We began our engagement session down on the quaint Spring Street in Jeffersonville, IN. Engagement sessions are usually a mix of exploring neat spots by foot for shots and quick stop offs for me to snap a few. We ventured further down to the bed and breakfast where Aaron was oh so sly in tricking Jen into thinking she was helping him with a task, instead he plopped down on one knee and popped the questions. Afterwards, we made the hike up to the Big Four Bridge where we captured engagement photos of the sunset. This happened to be the first time I was on the Indiana side of the Big Four Bridge. At the base, they had a few really neat light sculptures that proved to be picture perfect. I am looking forward to being Jen & Aaron's Indiana wedding photographer. Thanks for sharing an evening with me. Had a blast!! Below are a few of my favorites.
Kristin & Jonathan are getting married this Saturday!!! They made the trip down from Indiana this Sunday to squeeze in their Louisville engagement session and I am so glad that they did. It was great getting to know them before the big day and once it comes we will already have a good rapport making the day so much smoother. We took a short walk around NuLu stopping at a few places with neat colors and textures. We then traveled down towards the waterfront. Kristin's parents were such good sports and very patient while we captured all of these great shots. They were also in charge of keeping the puppies entertained :)
This Saturday they will be wed in Belvedere Park with the reception in the Archibald Ballroom at the Galt House. I am looking forward to working with Saudra with Planning Forever Events, Have a Nice Day, SMT Music, Reliable Rentals, In Bloom Again, Phlen's Bakery, and Beauty by Betheny. It's going to be an all star cast!!
Meet Angee and Justin. Here are just a few of my favorite images from their downtown Louisville engagement session. We made the great hike up to The Big Four Bridge to get these great sunset photos. Angee and Justin are getting married this August and have chosen The Foundry at Glassworks as their venue. They plan to have a rooftop ceremony right as the sun sets and then will have the reception in The Fourndry at Glasswork's great modern space. We had great fun on the Big Four Bridge and I am looking forward to being a part of their big day!!!
