Meet Taylor and Jason. They are getting married this July at Saint James Catholic Church with the reception to follow at Locust Grove. I have been looking forward to this wedding all year!!! Last year I photographed her sister's wedding and her family was such a pleasure to work with. They are very kind, fun people. For Jason and Taylor's engagement session we began at the historic Farmington Plantation and then made our way down to Main Street near 21C. It was a great evening. I just love color!!! I am so excited about these pictures because they just burst off the page with color.
Meet Courtney and Matt. They will be getting married this October at the beautiful Gardencourt Estate, which is a classic three-story Beaux Arts home built in 1906. Gardencourt is the perfect wedding venue for a lovely garden ceremony in their rose garden and an elegant reception celebration in the mansion. For Courtney and Matt's Louisville engagement photos we began on Bardstown Road, made a stop in NuLu on Market Street, and finished the evening in Cherokee Park. I was a great evening for capturing great engagement photos and I look forward to their upcoming wedding. Below is a few of my favorites.
Meet Becca and Mitch. These two are getting married this September and will be having their reception at the fabulous Foundry at Glassworks. Recently, we had a great time capturing their Louisville engagement photos. We were so lucky to have chosen the one week that these beautiful yellow flowers were blooming in Cherokee Park. It was quite the popular spot with Louisville photographers and artist painting on easels. Another spot Becca was super excited about stopping at was the warehouse right next to the Icehouse. It has great textures with all the brick and the old weathered green dock doors. It may sound rough but it photographs really well. We ended the evening across the river with the skyline of the city as the backdrop. It doesn’t get much better than that!! It was a great evening.
I am really looking forward to the wedding not just because these two are so much fun, but they have also booked one of Louisville premier wedding venues, The Foundry at Glassworks. Check out a recent photo of this great space below.
The Foundry at Glassworks is Louisville’s newest venue and event space located on West Market in downtown. With nearly 7,000 square feet, The Foundry at Glassworks is well suited for any type of corporate or private event. The Foundry is great for parties of 50 to 350; with dynamic lighting to create intimate spaces or a grand celebration. With an open catering and bar policy, The Foundry is the perfect location for any event.
Decor created by Paul Latham and Alex Hunnicutt with Fleur de Lis Events & Design, who just happens to be the two that will be designing Becca and Mitch's wedding. It's going to be gorgeous!!
