Happy 4th of July to this wonderful couple!! I had the honor of photographing Tessa & Zach's wedding at The Olmsted this May. It was a perfect sunny day that began with prep over in New Albany, IN. Tessa and her bridesmaids got ready in her grandmother's home and Zach relaxed with his guys at his brother's house close by. These guys were so lively to say the least. It was great fun taking their pictures and very entertaining. Tessa gave Zach a "groom survival kit" that included beer socks. Apparently, the guys really like beer because one of them got down on the ground and licked his socks. The girls were a joy to work with as well. Tena Edwards, who usually manages The Grand in New Albany, arranged beautiful floral designs and gorgeous bouquets that really made the pictures burst with color. Throughout the day, I worked along side of ICVideo as they filmed all the action. The staff at The Olmsted, under the direction of Jeri Stewart Payne, was gracious and welcoming as always and Masterson's catering created a delicious plated dinner. After dinner the party was kicked into high gear by Jack Gill with Dance Party Unlimited. He had everyone out on the dance floor. If you didn't know how to dance he taught you. It was incredibly fun for all the guests. Thanks Tessa & Zach for choosing me to be your Olmsted wedding photographer. I had a blast. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
It is such a beautiful time of year to take engagement photos with everything in bloom. It is an even better time to get married, which is exactly what Zachary and Tessa are doing this Saturday at The Olmstead. We had such a great time last week walking around Anchorage snapping photos and talking about the upcoming wedding and their fabulous European honeymoon (I am so jealous). I am super excited about working this weekend with Jerri Payne from The Olmstead, ICVideo, and Jack Gill with Dance Party Unlimited. Can't wait!! So happy that they chose me to be their Louisville wedding photographer.
