Meet Alex and Amanda. These two will be wed this July at The Foundry at Glassworks (which just happens to be one of my favorite venues to photograph). It was a beautiful spring day for their engagement session. The dogwoods were in bloom and it was beginning to look like spring had arrived. We started the evening off in Saint James Court. It was the perfect place for perfectly manicured landscapes, historic homes, and of course the beautiful fountain. Afterwards, we headed down to the waterfront. Once we reached the Big Four Bridge we quickly realized it was soooooooo much more windy down on the water. Amanda had quite the time with her beautiful blonde locks blowing in the gusty wind, but the images turned out great. I am looking forward to being their Louisville wedding photographer and being a part of their special day at The Foundry at Glassworks.
Meet Alison and Chad who had a beautiful wedding at the Oxmoor Country Club. Wedding day jitters are always compounded when you have to worry about rain. The forecast leading up to the big day warned of rain but we were super lucky and it decided to hold off. The staff at the Oxmoor Country Club were very accommodating and allowed up to use their golf carts to venture around the golf course taking beautiful pictures. Wth the looming clouds the couple chose to not chance the weather and instead had the ceremony inside a tent. After the ceremony we all had fun taking bridal party pictures on the greens. The reception was a joyous celebration with the dance floor packed. Thanks Alison and Chad for choosing me to be your Louisville wedding photographer and I wish you lots of happiness.
Meet Jason & Taylor. They were wed in July at the beautiful Saint James Catholic Church on Bardstown Road. This has to be one of the most orienate and vibrant churches in Louisville. We began the day with prep at Taylor's family's home nearby. Taylor wanted her pictures to be lush with greenery so after the ceremony they took a limo to Cherokee Park. This was one of those blazing hot July day!!! We were able to find a little shade near frisby field by the creek on a bridge. There we were able to escape the sizzling sun. After a fun photo session we were off to the historic Locust Grove for the reception. Taylor and Jason had a tent set up behind the Georgian Mansion. Their reception was filled with heartfelt speeches by each of Taylor's sisters, a touching mother - daughter dance, and an unexpected cake smash.
Jason & Taylor - Thanks for including me in your fabulous day. It was a pleasure
